A generalized guide - not any detail - some of the suggested basics are not in order by priority with what I have been taught previously. I have studied survival for over 50 years, and am constantly looking to improve and learn new ways. I did not get anything from this book. It was vague in its writing and did not follow what I would use as a priority list of needs in a survival situation. My grandfather, father, and uncles were woodsmen and I began my training at a young age, as well as have studied many well known bushmasters, (i.e. Mors Karanski, Mel DeWeese, Dr. John Fogerty, Dr. Ron Hood, as well as many others), and all were close in philosophy.Product details

Survival The Comprehensive guide to prepare you for a natural disaster urban collapse and wilderness survival eBook George Patterson Reviews
I found this book absolutely fascinating. It might seem bizarre to plan for a disaster but in the world we live in today I don't think disaster is too far away. This book gave me a great idea on how to survive a disaster and then how to flourish. It is brilliantly written and the author as well as really knowing his stuff has obviously done a lot of research. Work out what is important to your basic needs, how to go about collecting what is necessary to nuture those needs and then develop the skills that you would need to survive in the wild. Excellent.
Just enough practical information to get you " thinking " about planning ahead but it is not comprehensive as title suggests.
Handy
